Pachthof 1860 is a spacious, luxurious holiday home suitable for up to 25 people (including 20 adults). There are 6 spacious rooms, each with its own bathroom. The house is located in the beautiful rolling countryside of the Pajottenland, within walking distance of Gaasbeek Castle, but also just a stone's throw from Brussels. The former granary, dating from 1860, has been lovingly renovated, combining authentic features with modern technology. The house is ideal for those seeking peace, space, nature and comfort. But it is also perfect for sports enthusiasts or simply anyone who wants to discover the vibrant Pajottenland region with all its charms. It is the perfect base for families and groups of friends who want to enjoy themselves together, and there is something for everyone. The house is also very suitable for team building or business rentals.
Walking & Cycling (many more suggestions in the info folder in the house)
· Take a peaceful walk through the green valleys and fields, passing idyllic chapels, farms, and landscape cubes (Herne). The farmhouse is located at walking junction 7. Perfect for short or long hiking trips.
· Numerous cycling routes with different distances, such as the elegant Zenneroute or the Remco Evenepoel route (R.EV 1703). Cycling junctions 71 and 11 are just a few minutes away by bike.
· The region is also excellent for running, road cycling, gravel, and mountain biking.
Sights in the area
· The picturesque Saint Lawrence Church and the rural village center of Gaasbeek.
· Gaasbeek Castle with its beautiful museum garden and numerous events, the Gertrudis Chapel, as well as the Groenenberg estate.

· Not in the mood for cooking? A private chef can be booked at home — feel free to ask for suggestions in advance.
A deposit of EUR 750 must be paid by bank transfer before arrival. This deposit will be refunded within 10 days of departure, provided there is no damage. Organising student parties, stag/hen parties and drinking parties in this house is strictly prohibited. Smoking or vaping is only permitted outside. Due to fire safety requirements, the use of fondue sets, raclette sets, gourmet sets and stone grills is not permitted. Out of respect for the neighbourhood, we ask for quiet hours between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. Before departure, we ask that you sort all rubbish, leave the property swept clean and clean any appliances used. Please note that we will deduct the cost of any additional cleaning from the deposit.
